Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tony Queirós started the match with the kick off. Gigante da Colina FC's Allan França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Lara in the 4th minute of play. When Bernardinho Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gigante da Colina FC's protests and gave Bernardinho Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. Wellington Miranda was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 7th minute, Renato da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Queirós in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilian Rosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Guaianazes SS's Egídio Freitas got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Victor Trevisan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guaianazes SS's Wilian Rosa didn't even have to move. Tony Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Wilian Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Egídio Freitas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Allan França. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. The supporters of Guaianazes SS booed when Gigante da Colina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Bernardinho Cavalcante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilian Rosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Lara in the 56th minute of play forced Gigante da Colina FC's goalkeeper Allan França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilian Rosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Goiano in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute, Nilson Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilian Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th match minute, Guaianazes SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Pirani to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Goiano got free with Wilian Rosa in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardo Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan França. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. Armando Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Rosa having to interfere. Aluísio Freitas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan França read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. When Bernardo Lara came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Guaianazes SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Lara couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute Aluísio Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
