Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Panelas's Jairo Abreu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Bernardo Lara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Júnior da Costa, 1-0. With a little luck, Panelas's Júnior da Costa got control of the ball when Aluísio Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Benjamin Recife came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Panelas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Recife couldn't finish the play. Wilian Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Abreu in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guaianazes SS's goalkeeper Wilian Rosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benjamin Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Wilian Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Panelas's Jairo Abreu in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guaianazes SS's goalie prevented a goal. Jairo Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Benjamin Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Rosa having to interfere. Wilian Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Abreu in the 35th minute of play. Jairo Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Rosa having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Jairo Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panelas's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilian Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Lara was the one to do the kick off. Panelas's Júnior da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Saraiva in the 53rd minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Aluísio Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júnior da Costa. Panelas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aluísio Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Benjamin Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Rosa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guaianazes SS's Aluísio Freitas got a free kick in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Abreu in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilian Rosa saved Guaianazes SS from getting behind. Wilian Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Abreu in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilian Rosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Cido Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panelas's Júnior da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aluísio Freitas in the 83rd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Panelas's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Lara came free, but Júnior da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Guaianazes SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benjamin Recife fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 94 minutes into the match, Guaianazes SS's goalkeeper Wilian Rosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Recife. The Guaianazes SS support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
