Valdemar Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Dário Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Porcas's Isaltino Coutinho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valdemar Dias. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. The supporters of Juquinha Espuleta booed when Porcas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lisandro Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Tasso having to interfere. When Dário Machado fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juquinha Espuleta's protests and gave Dário Machado a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Juquinha Espuleta got a freekick which was hit by Dário Machado. Valdemar Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto de Toledo in the 26th minute. A collision led to Porcas getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. José Pedro Vale hit a great ball. Cristóvão de Toledo scored 2-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Tasso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristóvão de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hugo Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cristóvão de Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Tasso was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristóvão de Toledo to make the kick off. Valdemar Dias came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Porcas's Júlio de Queiroz. But to his dismay, Júlio de Queiroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Lisandro Micael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Hugo Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão de Toledo in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugo Tasso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Porcas's Hugo Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Porcas from getting a goal against them. Lisandro Micael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Tasso having to interfere. If Lisandro Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdemar Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio de Queiroz in the 70th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Dário Machado put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Juquinha Espuleta's Dário Machado got a free kick in the 74th minute. Valério de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Tasso having to interfere. Valério de Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Hugo Tasso made a huge save. After some careless play in the Juquinha Espuleta defense, Narciso Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Dias. The Juquinha Espuleta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Dias should have stopped the shot. Juquinha Espuleta's Vladimir Urbano has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 90th minute. When José Pedro Vale fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porcas's protests and gave José Pedro Vale a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes, Juquinha Espuleta's Cristóvão de Toledo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hugo Tasso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juquinha Espuleta reached it.
