An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Peres in the 24th minute of play forced Geman E.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luciano Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The wind increased when Dedé Machado made the kick off in the second half. When Anderson Peres came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Lods United fans jumped to their feet. The Lods United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseu Matorin should have stopped the shot. Luciano Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Luiz Gustavo Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Anderson Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dieguinho Alvarenga charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dieguinho Alvarenga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Dieguinho Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
