The Emburana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Zé Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Túlio Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romário Abreu struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Túlio Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emburana. Emburana's Laerte Palmeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Emburana from getting a goal against them. Laerte Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Araújo in the 37th minute of play. Romário Abreu struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Túlio Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emburana. The Suvakeira FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Emburana were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Romário Abreu made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Suvakeira FC's Arlindo Reis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laerte Palmeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Wesley Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zé Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Emburana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Trigo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Emburana booed when Suvakeira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Santos having to interfere. Emburana's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
