Wilton Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Eriberto Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genílson Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Duarte in the 19th minute of the match. Genílson Travassos made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Luisinho Duarte sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Bullet Club's Genílson Travassos got control of the ball when Hermínio Braga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisinho Duarte got free with Genílson Travassos in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Rodrigues having to interfere. Eriberto Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermínio Braga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Genílson Travassos made a huge save. Luisinho Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Genílson Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hermínio Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Hermínio Braga could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Genílson Travassos however easily saved by the left post. Genílson Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisinho Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Genílson Travassos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermínio Braga went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Cururu's Luisinho Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Bullet Club booed when Cururu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bullet Club's Genílson Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Braga in the 68th minute of play. Wilton Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cururu's goalkeeper Eriberto Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Duarte in the 93rd minute of play forced Bullet Club's goalkeeper Genílson Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bullet Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
