Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celsinho Mendonça started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute, Celsinho Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedito Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carneiro in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Leonardo Vander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ocara SS and the Itaquahy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ocara SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Alberto Martins shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Dinei Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Benedito Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celsinho Mendonça went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. José Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Itaquahy's Celsinho Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Adalmo Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaquahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalmo Valadares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedito Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedito Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celsinho Mendonça hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Belmiro Sabóia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adalmo Souto in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Barros in the 39th minute of play forced Itaquahy's goalkeeper Belmiro Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Itaquahy's Celsinho Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedito Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Ocara SS getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Dinei Tande hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, José Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeca Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Ocara SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Tande to maneuver through the defense. When Celsinho Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Itaquahy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celsinho Mendonça couldn't finish the play. Celsinho Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Queiroz having to interfere. If José Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. José Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Benedito Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaquahy. Celsinho Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celsinho Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, José Carneiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itaquahy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ocara SS's goalkeeper Benedito Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Pedrão Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Ocara SS got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Tande. Itaquahy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
