Sidnei Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Collina EC's zone, Sidnei Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Brasil came out of the goal and Sidnei Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Collina EC's Ezequiel Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Jacinto in the 25th minute of play. If Sílvio Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 minutes of play, Cavalo EC's Sidnei Koehler made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jardel Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ezequiel Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Motta in the 37th minute of play. Sidnei Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Brasil having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Cavalo EC got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Medeiros. After 48 minutes, Nelsinho Jacinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavalo EC and the Collina EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nelsinho Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Cavalo EC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sílvio Motta to make the kick off. If Sidnei Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Motta in the 59th minute of play. Sílvio Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ezequiel Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Cavalo EC got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Jacinto. Collina EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Sílvio Motta scored to the left of an out of position Ezequiel Brasil, making the score, 0-3. In the 94th minute, Sílvio Motta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ezequiel Brasil, passed just outside the right post. Ezequiel Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Motta in the 94th minute of the match. Cavalo EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
