Maraua's Vicente Bertassi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Maraua from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Maraua's Vicente Bertassi got control of the ball when Severino Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute, Ourupu's Cesinha Carioca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 15 played minutes Maraua got a freekick which was hit by David de Souza. Vicente Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Rocha in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Bertassi saved Maraua from getting behind. Vicente Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Carioca in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, Maraua's Vicente Bertassi got control of the ball when Pedrão Hoffmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severino Rocha struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Vicente Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ourupu. In the 37th minute, Pedro Luiz Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Cesinha Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Vicente Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Rocha in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Bertassi saved Maraua from getting behind. Vicente Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Rocha in the 47th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Ourupu's Severino Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Bertassi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Rocha to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedrão Hoffmann during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Severino Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rony Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Severino Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Bertassi was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Severino Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eurico de Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eurico de Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eurico de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ourupu were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Maraua's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cesinha Carioca took the corner. Ourupu's Alexsandro Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Cesinha Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Vicente Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Severino Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
