Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Fernando Correia came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Jurubeba SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Correia couldn't finish the play. Egídio Velasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luizão Lucas went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Jurubeba SC booed when Mariante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Pedro Alvarenga's late challenge caught a Mariante's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Pedro Alvarenga helped the player get up and apologised. If Fernando Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egídio Rezende succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Mariante's zone, Fernando Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egídio Velasco came out of the goal and Fernando Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Fabiano Quadros hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Yan Terra missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 33 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Egídio Velasco right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Luizão Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jurubeba SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luizão Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egídio Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Luizão Lucas made a precise shot to the right of Egídio Velasco. Mariante's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Luizão Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Correia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eric Classon thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Sidnei Lopez, a very annoying self made goal in the 67th minute which led to 2-2. In the 74th minute, Cipriano Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Egídio Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizão Lucas hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Mariante's Egídio Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão Lucas in the 84th minute of play. João Pedro Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Egídio Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jurubeba SC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
