When Tales Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tales Goiano couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Toledo in the 16th minute of play forced Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Mateus Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Augusto Messias in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandrinho Batista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Paulo Pimenta hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Zé Augusto Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandrinho Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Perez came free, but Mateus Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Fiori Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateus Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Pimenta in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Zé Augusto Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateus Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Mateus Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz Bittencourt in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Benjamim Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zé Augusto Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mateus Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Toledo in the 45th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Augusto Messias to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Zé Augusto Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Paulo Pimenta got free with Mateus Campidelis in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Osasco Futebol Arte's Humberto Toledo got a free kick in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Mateus Campidelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Toledo. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Mateus Campidelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Cruzeiro Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them.
