The tension between the Itaquari SC and the Bilac players grew even worse after the yellow card. Giuseppe Simões came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Toninho Meireles could save by the left post. Toninho Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano de Alcântara in the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano do Valle in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Maranhense saved Bilac from getting behind. Giuseppe Simões in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Toninho Meireles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Adriano do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bilac's goalkeeper Alberto Maranhense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Itaquari SC. Gustavo da Mata stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alberto Maranhense. 1-1. Germano de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Toninho Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano de Alcântara in the 42nd minute of the match. If Giuseppe Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Giuseppe Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Meireles having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germano de Alcântara in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toninho Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Adriano do Valle made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Germano de Alcântara in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toninho Meireles saved Itaquari SC from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Bilac's goalkeeper Alberto Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giuseppe Garcia. After having played for 72 minutes, Giuseppe Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaquari SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Germano de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Itaquari SC's Toninho Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Simões in the 83rd minute of play. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bilac fans cheered their team off the field, for while Itaquari SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
