Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adelino Schmidt took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match, Zé Roberto Donato tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maurinho Mendes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 5th minute, Zé Roberto Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Roberto Donato in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurinho Mendes saved Favonio from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Samuel Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maurinho Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Roberto Donato in the 14th minute of play. In the 16thth minute of the game Zé Roberto Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Favonio's Maurinho Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adelino Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mauro Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Favonio's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Donato came free, but Maurinho Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurinho Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Roberto Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Maurinho Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Donato in the 29th minute of the match. Maurinho Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Roberto Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Roberto Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurinho Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Favonio's zone, Zé Roberto Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurinho Mendes came out of the goal and Zé Roberto Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Favonio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorge Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time Laenre sport clube's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Laenre sport clube's Jorge Castro to fire away a dangerous shot which Maurinho Mendes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Caco Bittencourt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laenre sport clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Favonio the free kick. After 56 played minutes Laenre sport clube got a freekick which was hit by Caco Bittencourt. In the 58th minute, Zé Roberto Donato made a precise shot to the right of Maurinho Mendes. Favonio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Zé Roberto Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Zé Roberto Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zé Roberto Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Maurinho Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Favonio's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Donato came free, but Maurinho Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Zé Roberto Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Zé Roberto Donato put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Maurinho Mendes. When the referee ended the match the Laenre sport clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
