Armandinho Hoffmann came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Pelada do Zé Br's Paulinho Vianna. But to his dismay, Paulinho Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luís Paulo França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Esteves having to interfere. Pirarema AD's Telmo Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Aguiar in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Pirarema AD's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Vianna came free, but Armandinho Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Telmo Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Esteves was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Armandinho Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pirarema AD's zone, Severino da Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armandinho Hoffmann came out of the goal and Severino da Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Telmo Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ricardo Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirarema AD. If Telmo Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Pelada do Zé Br. Luís Gustavo Azevedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armandinho Hoffmann. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino da Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adriano Fernandez charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano Fernandez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Pelada do Zé Br defense, Luís Paulo França kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Esteves. The Pelada do Zé Br fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Esteves should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Pirarema AD booed when Pelada do Zé Br was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armandinho Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino da Silva in the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Marcel Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78thth minute of the game Severino da Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirarema AD's Armandinho Hoffmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severino da Silva struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Armandinho Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pelada do Zé Br. Murillo de Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Murillo de Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo França in the 89th minute of play forced Pelada do Zé Br's goalkeeper Ricardo Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murillo de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ricardo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Pelada do Zé Br got a freekick which was hit by Donato Torres. Paulinho Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
