Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silas Cearense took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fernandinho Castro struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Cléberson Koehler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cumbauba. Cléberson Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedito Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Itaja EC's Noel Machado got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th match minute, Itaja EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí Macedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Fernandinho Castro made a precise shot to the right of Cléberson Koehler. Itaja EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The attack was good, but when Fernandinho Castro in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 23 minutes into the match, Itaja EC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Pirani came free, but Cléberson Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fernandinho Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Cumbauba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Cléberson Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandinho Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silas Cearense was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Itaja EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silas Cearense in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardinho Arósio saved Cumbauba from getting behind. Fernandinho Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Cumbauba fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Cumbauba's Fernandinho Castro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Itaja EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cumbauba were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernandinho Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. Cléberson Koehler made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Benedito Pirani sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute of the match Luisão Paranaense shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardinho Arósio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Silas Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silas Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bernardinho Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes of play, Cumbauba's Benedito Pirani made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléberson Koehler was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Cumbauba defense, Silas Cearense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardinho Arósio. The Cumbauba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardinho Arósio should have stopped the shot. When Ademir Sena fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cumbauba's protests and gave Ademir Sena a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cumbauba's Ademir Sena got a free kick in the 97th minute.
