Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Genílson Valadares kicked off to start the match. Gerson Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Gaspar in the 5th minute of play. Genílson Valadares took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gláuber Cabral. Gláuber Cabral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Gotas's Marquinhos Pinho got a free kick in the 10th minute. Genílson Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Genílson Valadares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gláuber Cabral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Otávio Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gláuber Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gotas's Fernando Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marabitanas's Luiz Fábio Gaspar in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gotas's goalie prevented a goal. Gotas's Genílson Valadares got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gláuber Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genílson Valadares in the 32nd minute of the match. Gláuber Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genílson Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Gláuber Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Valadares in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Fábio Gaspar made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vivaldo Alvarenga in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerson Botelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Otávio Arantes fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gotas's protests and gave Otávio Arantes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Otávio Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 60th minute of the match Otávio Arantes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Otávio Arantes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 60 played minutes Gotas got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Arantes. Gerson Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Alvarenga in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gotas's zone, Vivaldo Alvarenga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerson Botelho came out of the goal and Vivaldo Alvarenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Leonardo de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vivaldo Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gerson Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes in the game, Fernando Domingues fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gláuber Cabral having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Gotas's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Alvarenga came free, but Gerson Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Gotas got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Valadares. After recieving a nice pass, Marabitanas's Jacinto Lima tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gotas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
