Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sabino da Costa made the kick off which started today's match. David Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Velasco in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Balco AD getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Kléberson Leal hit a great ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balco AD's goalkeeper Giovani Bittencourt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kléberson Leal might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Quintal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kléberson Leal ran back to his position shaking his head. Dedé Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. David Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dedé Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gildo Paes in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Quintal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Iauare's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Paes came free, but David Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Porto in the 33rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Iauare's Sabino da Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giovani Bittencourt. That made the score 1-0 after 40 minutes of play. The supporters of Balco AD booed when Iauare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gildo Paes made a kick off. Dedé Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovani Bittencourt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iauare. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho dos Santos in the 84th minute of play forced Balco AD's goalkeeper Giovani Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
