Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomás Senna got the match started through his kick off. Benedito de Almeida hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cacador's zone, Tomás Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Pontes came out of the goal and Tomás Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Durvalino Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Rodolfo Terra, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 18th minute, Tomás Senna made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Pontes. Cacador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tomás Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Tomás Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirangai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Tadeu Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacador's Alberto Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Pirangai fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Pirangai's Tadeu Nogueira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Cacador's zone, Tadeu Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Pontes came out of the goal and Tadeu Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Cacador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pirangai were winning 0-2.

Tomás Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Pontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. João Paulo Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Alberto Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Senna in the 54th minute of play. Cacador's Alberto Pontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Cacador from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Pirangai booed when Cacador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomás Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléberson de Godoi's late challenge caught a Pirangai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléberson de Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. Kléberson de Godoi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, João Paulo Xavier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirangai the free kick. After 70 played minutes Cacador got a freekick which was hit by João Paulo Xavier. Alberto Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Patrick da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Serafim Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafim Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Cacador got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Fernandes. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Tadeu Nogueira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Senna in the 85th minute of play forced Cacador's goalkeeper Alberto Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick da Fonseca having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Pirangai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Torres to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Vaz in the 89th minute of play forced Pirangai's goalkeeper Patrick da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Pirangai left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cacador.
