Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Putfire's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Braga came free, but Luciano Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Putfire's Luciano Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Braga in the 10th minute of play. Dário Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Luciano Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute José Paulo Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Paulo Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Luciano Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Casquilho AD's goalkeeper Fernão Paraíba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Braga in the 26th minute of play forced Putfire's goalkeeper Luciano Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, José Paulo Braga made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Mendes. Putfire's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Oscar de Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dário Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fernão Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarcisio Negri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernão Paraíba came out and tried to block the shot, but Tarcisio Negri slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 41st minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Paulo Braga to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernão Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcisio Negri in the 57th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Casquilho AD's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio Negri came free, but Fernão Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Putfire's goalkeeper Luciano Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Putfire's Oscar de Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Artur Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldinho Teles's late challenge caught a Putfire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldinho Teles helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Casquilho AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Putfire:s goal. The Putfire fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Putfire's Tarcisio Negri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Oscar de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernão Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar de Queiroz in the 101st minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Putfire had played much better football throughout.
