Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Américo Dantas started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tranquera's Fernão Leão got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Icem's Carlos Alberto Gaspar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tranquera. In the 5th minute Nestor Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Renatinho Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Borges having to interfere. Gualter Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Edu Fonseca made a huge save. Samuel Motta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Icem's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Dantas came free, but Edu Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Domingues struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Dorival Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Icem. Dorival Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Décio Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualter Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Edu Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Mazinho Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Icem's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazinho Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorival Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorival Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Domingues in the 38th minute of play. Mazinho Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dorival Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tranquera's Dorival Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Domingues in the 42nd minute of play. Mazinho Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 45 minutes, Nestor Domingues made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tranquera's Dorival Borges tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Domingues to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Tranquera's goalkeeper Dorival Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Domingues. In the 55th minute, Samuel Motta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tranquera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 60th minute, Nestor Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestor Domingues's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Dorival Borges skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Renatinho Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Borges having to interfere. Nestor Dominguess short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Dorival Borges to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edu Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Leal in the 68th minute of play. Icem's Edu Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Leal in the 75th minute of play. Nestor Domingues in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dorival Borges, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 88 played minutes, Tranquera's Jonas Cardozo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edu Fonseca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tranquera reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Nestor Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Icem's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorival Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonas Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Edu Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Tranquera's Gualter Leal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edu Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.
