Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cido Félix scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulysses Mineiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, CiaNorte-Paraná's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel de Barros came free, but Ulysses Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cido Félix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulysses Mineiro having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Medeiros in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percival Freitas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evaristo Messias during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Palheta EC's Evaristo Messias got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 30th minute Cido Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márcio Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Percival Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CiaNorte-Paraná. In the 45th minute, Paulo Renato Faria sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CiaNorte-Paraná's Ulysses Mineiro didn't even have to move. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cido Félix to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Juan de Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CiaNorte-Paraná and the Palheta EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Márcio Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percival Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Ulysses Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Paraense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ulysses Mineiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Emanuel de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Mineiro having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Palheta EC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Medeiros came free, but Percival Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
