Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ediberto Pimenta made the kick off and thus started the match. If Ediberto Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Gernando Castro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Exapora's Doriva Barral didn't even have to move. Doriva Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Braga in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Curumatahy booed when Exapora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitinho de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doriva Barral came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Curumatahy's Ediberto Pimenta. But to his dismay, Ediberto Pimenta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sabino Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Peres having to interfere. Geovanni Salgado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Ulisses Peres skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Geovanni Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardinho Ferraz during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Geovanni Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Exapora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovanni Salgado couldn't finish the play. Ulisses Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Cerezo in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Braga in the 40th minute of play forced Exapora's goalkeeper Doriva Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doriva Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Pimenta in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Miguel Braga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doriva Barral. Exapora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sabino Cerezo made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Exapora's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Pimenta came free, but Doriva Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doriva Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Pimenta in the 67th minute of the match. Doriva Barral made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Miguel Braga sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Exapora's Doriva Barral got control of the ball when Miguel Braga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Curumatahy's Ulisses Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabino Cerezo in the 87th minute of play. Ediberto Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Doriva Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Peixoto during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
