Emanuel de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doriva Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cido Félix in the 4th minute of the match. Percival Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Salgado in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Cerezo in the 13th minute of play forced Palheta EC's goalkeeper Percival Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doriva Barral made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Emanuel de Barros sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Cido Félix reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Doriva Barral. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 23rd minute Sabino Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Exapora's Doriva Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel de Barros in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Exapora got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho de Brito. 30 minutes into the match, Exapora's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Félix came free, but Doriva Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Sabino Cerezo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Percival Freitas. Palheta EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabino Cerezo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 36th minute, Edgard Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doriva Barral made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Emanuel de Barros sent off a good shot on target. Caco Porto hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Cido Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cido Félix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Félix in the 53rd minute of play forced Exapora's goalkeeper Doriva Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Carlos Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palheta EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Paraense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doriva Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel de Barros in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Exapora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitinho de Brito to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Cido Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sabino Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Freitas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Cerezo in the 72nd minute of play forced Palheta EC's goalkeeper Percival Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes, Palheta EC's Rubens Duarte shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Doriva Barral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palheta EC reached it. After 76 played minutes Exapora got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho de Brito. Doriva Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cido Félix in the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Exapora defense, Cido Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doriva Barral. The Exapora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doriva Barral should have stopped the shot. After 86 minutes of play, Palheta EC's Cido Félix made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doriva Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cido Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Doriva Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Barral having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Palheta EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
