The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Manaquiri getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ulysses Queirós hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes Malta AD got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos Correia. In the 34th match minute, Malta AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Correia to maneuver through the defense. Juarês Prado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Rafa Capixaba made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, Edgar do Nascimento notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Manaquiri's Natã da Rocha. Natã da Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rafa Capixaba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juarês Prado in the 45th minute.

Rafa Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Prado in the 52nd minute of the match. Juarês Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Capixaba having to interfere. Malta AD's Rafa Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar das Neves in the 84th minute of play. The Malta AD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
