Natã da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Túlio Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Manaquiri got a freekick which was hit by Juarês Prado. Cássio Catarinense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Natã da Rocha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 24 minutes in the game, Túlio Mazza dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Manaquiri's Natã da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Mazza in the 26th minute of play. Túlio Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã da Rocha having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Edgard Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Catarinense might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natã da Rocha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cássio Catarinense ran back to his position shaking his head. Oscar das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Amorim having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Pedras AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabino Damião to maneuver through the defense. Lúcio Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar das Neves went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Cássio Catarinense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natã da Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Cássio Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedras AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Juarês Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Túlio Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Túlio Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pedras AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Túlio Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natã da Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 played minutes Manaquiri got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Alvarenga. Juarês Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Lúcio Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cássio Catarinense came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Pedras AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Catarinense couldn't finish the play. Túlio Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cauan Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Natã da Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pedras AD. Cauan Figueiredo's late challenge caught a Manaquiri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cauan Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. If Cássio Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juarês Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Manaquiri's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Mazza came free, but Natã da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pedras AD players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
