Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jeremias Ferraz started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Ferraz in the 4th minute of play forced Hamburgo's goalkeeper Edmundo Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 7 minutes on the clock, Elder França commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlantic fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Armando Pinheiro, was totally fooled by Hamburgo's Ismael Goiano, who 9 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 14th minute Guto Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Félix in the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Naldo Alagoano got free with Armando Pinheiro in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guto Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naldo Alagoano in the 25th minute. Anselmo Lima hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Atlantic's Josué Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diamantino Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Edmundo Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Guto Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes Atlantic got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Terra. If Naldo Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Guto Félix made the kick off in the second half. Armando Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guto Félix went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Naldo Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Alagoano in the 64th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Guto Félix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Vladimir Nóbrega hit a great ball. Josué Dantas's late challenge caught a Hamburgo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josué Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. Armando Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Félix in the 77th minute of play. Diamantino Terra scored 4-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmundo Alagoano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armando Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Alagoano in the 85th minute of the match. Guto Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Armando Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Naldo Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naldo Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Atlantic's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
