Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) If Angelo Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 minutes of play, Sopa's Severino das Neves made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emerson Saraiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Gravi defense, Sidnei de Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emerson Saraiva. The Gravi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emerson Saraiva should have stopped the shot. After 13 played minutes Gravi got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Vieira. After 13 played minutes Sopa got a freekick which was hit by Severino das Neves. After 15 minutes of play, Gravi's Matheus Mota made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kléberson Couto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Sopa booed when Gravi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Severino das Neves came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Sopa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino das Neves couldn't finish the play. Kléberson Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A collision led to Sopa getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sidnei de Mendonça hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Matheus Mota cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Kléberson Couto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the game, Severino das Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Emerson Saraiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the match, Hortêncio da Costa notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Gravi's Emerson Saraiva. Emerson Saraiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Sopa were leading 3-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Vieira to make the kick off. Matheus Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Kléberson Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Sopa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Percy Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Sopa got a freekick which was hit by Percy Mineiro. When Gravi's Angelo Vieira in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sopa's goalie prevented a goal. If Matheus Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gravi getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Cafu Fernandez hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Sopa's Juarês Barbosa tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sidnei de Mendonça's late challenge caught a Gravi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidnei de Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sopa's Sidnei de Mendonça got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Sidnei de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Vieira in the 78th minute of play forced Sopa's goalkeeper Kléberson Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kléberson Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Fernandez in the 85th minute of play. Kléberson Couto came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Gravi's Angelo Vieira. But to his dismay, Angelo Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. Sopa's Kléberson Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Mota in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Nicolas Marques shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kléberson Couto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hortêncio da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Emerson Saraiva made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sopa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gravi.
