Danilo Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Santana in the 3rd minute of the match. If Júlio Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardinho de Brito in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Madureira saved The Wall S.C from getting behind. Danilo Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho de Brito in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Santana in the 10th minute of play forced The Wall S.C's goalkeeper Danilo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Pussazeiro SS's Júlio Santana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danilo Madureira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 13 minutes, Cristiano Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pussazeiro SS and the The Wall S.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pussazeiro SS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Cristiano Freitas hit a great ball. The Wall S.C's Danilo Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Santana in the 15th minute of play. Pussazeiro SS's Bernardinho de Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Santana struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Danilo Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pussazeiro SS. When Júlio Santana came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pussazeiro SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Santana couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho de Brito in the 26th minute of play forced The Wall S.C's goalkeeper Danilo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardinho de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Danilo Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Pussazeiro SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Pussazeiro SS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldir Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Naldo Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pussazeiro SS's Natanael de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Marquez in the 59th minute of play. If Pedro Augusto Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Madureira having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bernardinho de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pussazeiro SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardinho de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Augusto Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael de Alcântara having to interfere. Glauco Peres hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Danilo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho de Brito in the 82nd minute of play. When Júlio Santana came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Pussazeiro SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Santana couldn't finish the play. Bernardinho de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
