In the 3rd match minute, Sport Club Indaiatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Vale to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Dadá Madureira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sport Club Indaiatuba's Valdemar Marinho didn't even have to move. Valdemar Marinho made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Alessandro Branco sent off a good shot on target. Osvaldinho Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Pedro Augusto Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elano Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Schmidt having to interfere. Sport Club Indaiatuba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Pedro Luís Mandrak scored to the left of an out of position Valdemar Marinho, making the score, 1-0. Valdemar Marinho made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Túlio Negri sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Sport Club Indaiatuba's Valdemar Marinho got control of the ball when Alessandro Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdemar Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Mandrak in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Osvaldinho Cearense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lidice AD's Pedro Augusto Schmidt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Túlio Negri struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Valdemar Marinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lidice AD. Pedro Augusto Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldinho Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Pedro Augusto Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alan Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Schmidt having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldinho Cearense made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Délio Meirelles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Augusto Schmidt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Amadeu Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pedro Augusto Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Dadá Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Carlos Vale, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Elano Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldinho Cearense had several of the Lidice AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Pedro Augusto Schmidt as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 71st minute, Túlio Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Maurinho Leme put in a rough tackle. In the 72nd minute, one of Lidice AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lidice AD. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldinho Cearense in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Augusto Schmidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osvaldinho Cearense might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Augusto Schmidt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldinho Cearense ran back to his position shaking his head. When Osvaldinho Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Sport Club Indaiatuba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldinho Cearense couldn't finish the play. Pedro Augusto Schmidt was a little too slow when Elano Pimenta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 88th minute, Elano Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes Lidice AD got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Madureira. João Carlos Vale, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sport Club Indaiatuba's Osvaldinho Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sport Club Indaiatuba played a much better game than Lidice AD and deserved their victory. The Lidice AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
