Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adriano Tasso kicked off to start the match. Vinícius Pires scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abel de Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Paulo Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A hard shot 14 in the game by Adriano Tasso from a close distance when the talented Romeu Jacinto managed to make a qualified save. Uxituba's players were relieved. Gunnar Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Jacinto having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Costa during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wikiui's Gilberto Paiva got a free kick in the 27th minute. Paulo Neves came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Uxituba's Vinícius Pires. But to his dismay, Vinícius Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Adriano Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Pires in the 46th minute of play forced Wikiui's goalkeeper Paulo Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinícius Pires to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Tasso in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeu Jacinto saved Uxituba from getting behind. Romeu Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Wikiui's goalkeeper Paulo Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simão Barral. After a defensive mix-up in Uxituba's zone, Adriano Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Jacinto came out of the goal and Adriano Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Wikiui's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Pires came free, but Paulo Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match Manfredo Netto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeu Jacinto skillfully saved the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Vinícius Pires recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo Neves. Vinícius Pires showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-5. A collision led to Wikiui getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eduardo Dantas hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Tasso in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeu Jacinto saved Uxituba from getting behind. Wikiui's Paulo Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Wikiui from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Uxituba eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
