Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adriano Tasso kicked off to start the match. Paulo Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Prata in the 2nd minute of play. After 3 played minutes Wikiui got a freekick which was hit by Diego Costa. In the 5th minute of the match Waldir de Queiroz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Neves skillfully saved the ball. In the 8th match minute, Wikiui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Amaral to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Wikiui's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Pires came free, but Paulo Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 10 minutes, Adriano Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granzato's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno do Vale in the 12th minute of play forced Wikiui's goalkeeper Paulo Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Granzato's zone, Gunnar Odén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Mattos came out of the goal and Gunnar Odén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Adriano Tasso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anselmo Mattos, 1-0. Anselmo Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcisio Amaral in the 36th minute of the match. Deivid Matos's late challenge caught a Wikiui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deivid Matos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Wikiui booed when Granzato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Odén was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Granzato getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dadá Pires hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dadá Pires to make the kick off. Tarcisio Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Anselmo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Mattos came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Wikiui's Diego Costa. But to his dismay, Diego Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Dadá Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarcisio Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Mattos having to interfere. Paulo Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Gilberto Paiva hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute Vânderson Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Adriano Tasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granzato's Anselmo Mattos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magno do Vale got free with Paulo Neves in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Wikiui's Caio Magalhães got a free kick in the 80th minute. Vânderson Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Gunnar Odén struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Anselmo Mattos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wikiui. 90 minutes into the match, Wikiui's goalkeeper Paulo Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magno do Vale. 91 minutes into the match, Wikiui's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Pires came free, but Paulo Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Dadá Pires made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Neves. Wikiui's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 96th minute of the match Eduardo Dantas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anselmo Mattos skillfully saved the ball. Granzato's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
