Marcinho Ramos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yuri Torres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Edgard Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Fiori Negri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcinho Ramos. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Rossi in the 24th minute of play forced sporting pilsen's goalkeeper Edgard Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes sporting pilsen got a freekick which was hit by Armando Abreu. Elói da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Leal having to interfere. Fiori Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuri Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Marcinho Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Maurinho Vander fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conchal EC's protests and gave Maurinho Vander a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Maurinho Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Conchal EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Fernandão Peres placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Yuri Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marcinho Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When Elói da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Conchal EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elói da Silva couldn't finish the play. Zé Carlos Linhares hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Marcinho Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Torres in the 56th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Edgard Leal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Yuri Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcinho Ramos having to make a save. Cauã de Souza hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Yuri Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Elói da Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute Júlio Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Elói da Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Conchal EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Elói da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Fiori Negri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcinho Ramos was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Conchal EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
