Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Durval Melo started the match with the kick off. Joaquim Sabóia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubinho Loureiro in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Frederico Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Bacanas F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aveiro's Victor Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Melo in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Aveiro's Luís Paulo Eger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquim Sabóia. Joaquim Sabóia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Octavio Cordarrol hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Duda Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Durval Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Queiroz having to interfere. Frederico Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, Los Bacanas F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio Peixoto to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Percy Alvarenga was the one to do the kick off. Percy Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Percy Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Sabóia having to interfere. Joaquim Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th match minute, Los Bacanas F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Donato to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Eger in the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Percy Alvarenga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquim Sabóia was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Frederico Rosado might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico Rosado ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute of the match Délio Peixoto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Queiroz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joaquim Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Alvarenga in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aveiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Bacanas F.C. the free kick. When Rubinho Loureiro fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aveiro's protests and gave Rubinho Loureiro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Bacanas F.C. booed when Aveiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Horácio de Almeida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquim Sabóia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Aveiro getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Pedro Luiz Antunes hit a great ball. Frederico Rosado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Queiroz having to make a save. 87 minutes into the match, Los Bacanas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Leão came free, but Joaquim Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Loureiro in the 89th minute of play. Los Bacanas F.C.'s Joaquim Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Leão in the 90th minute of play. After some careless play in the Los Bacanas F.C. defense, Rubinho Loureiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquim Sabóia. The Los Bacanas F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquim Sabóia should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Aveiro were the better team. Aveiro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
