Nelson Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro de Castro in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arlindo Maciel in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Campidelis saved CD Catalunya from getting behind. In the 40th minute Ciro de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arlindo Maciel in the 86th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Nelson Campidelis kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Nelson Campidelis came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Graal Futebol Clube's Ciro de Castro. But to his dismay, Ciro de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.
