Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arlindo Maciel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luiz Fabiano Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernão Damião having to interfere. Fernão Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 12 played minutes Salseiro SS got a freekick which was hit by Frank Quirino. After having played for 16 minutes, Arlindo Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Graal Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arlindo Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Fábio Prata made a precise shot to the right of Fernão Damião. Graal Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Fernão Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belmiro da Mata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro de Castro in the 33rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Ciro de Castro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 42nd match minute, Graal Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Maciel to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th match minute, Salseiro SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionísio Vides to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fábio Prata to strike the kick off in the second half. If Arlindo Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Maciel in the 60th minute of play forced Salseiro SS's goalkeeper Belmiro da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Salseiro SS's zone, Daniel Berger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belmiro da Mata came out of the goal and Daniel Berger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Dionísio Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Jonathan Zonta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Belmiro da Mata skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Arlindo Maciel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belmiro da Mata was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Agenor Magalhães's late challenge caught a Graal Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agenor Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Salseiro SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agenor Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Ciro de Castro struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Belmiro da Mata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Graal Futebol Clube. In the 76th minute Arlindo Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Salseiro SS's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Maciel came free, but Belmiro da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Berger in the 80th minute of play forced Salseiro SS's goalkeeper Belmiro da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ciro de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arlindo Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Berger struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Belmiro da Mata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Graal Futebol Clube. Salseiro SS's Belmiro da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Maciel in the 92nd minute of play. Belmiro da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Berger in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Graal Futebol Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
