Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Andrézinho Matorin made the kick off and thus started the match. Túlio do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Matorin in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genílson Dracena in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Válbson Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Xatelodo booed when Cabecudas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeca Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Túlio do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Ulysses Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Válbson Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Andrézinho Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Xatelodo booed when Cabecudas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genílson Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Genílson Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Genílson Dracena notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Xatelodo's Válbson Leão. Válbson Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Xatelodo's Zeca Mesquita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Túlio do Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Válbson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysses Salles in the 39th minute of the match. When Genílson Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cabecudas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genílson Dracena couldn't finish the play. If Ulysses Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válbson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Dracena in the 44th minute of play. When Genílson Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Cabecudas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genílson Dracena couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The long shot by Sandrinho de Medeiros in the 57th minute really tested Válbson Leão's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Válbson Leão made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ulysses Salles sent off a good shot on target. Xatelodo's Válbson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genílson Dracena in the 63rd minute of play. Ulysses Salles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Válbson Leão made a huge save. In the 78th minute, Ulysses Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabecudas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Ulysses Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Válbson Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulysses Salles in the 89th minute. Xatelodo's Válbson Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Xatelodo from getting a goal against them. Genílson Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Leão having to interfere. Cabecudas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
