Zeca Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Vander in the 28th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Era SS got a freekick which was hit by João Paulo Fernandes. Dito Pires succeeded in the game's 48th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dito Pires to make the kick off. Tostão Barral hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Coroas's zone, Dito Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dagoberto Magalhães came out of the goal and Dito Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Cardoso having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Dito do Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Era SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coroas the free kick. The supporters of Coroas booed when Era SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeca Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Massa in the 73rd minute of the match. Coroas's Gustavo Vander got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeca Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Era SS's Zeca Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Vander in the 92nd minute of play. When Felipe Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Era SS's protests and gave Felipe Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Era SS got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Cordeiro. Zeca Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinei Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Era SS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
