Patrick Garcia hit a great ball. With a little luck, Aguado's Marcos de Senna got control of the ball when Rubinho das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Ernesto Dante made a precise shot to the right of Juninho Antunes. Borgueto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Adrianinho Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Marcos de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aguado's Marcos de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Aguado from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Vieira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos de Senna, 2-1. The Aguado fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Aguado's Ernesto Dante looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 44 minutes, Gildo Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borgueto and the Aguado players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Borgueto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildo Amorim to maneuver through the defense.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Dante to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Aguado's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Vieira came free, but Marcos de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinho Mello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Juninho Antunes made a huge save. Marcos de Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrianinho Vieira's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 64 minutes into the game, Edson Tinoco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borgueto the free kick. The supporters of Borgueto booed when Aguado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Aguado's Edson Tinoco got a free kick in the 67th minute. Juninho Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Dante in the 75th minute of play. Pedrinho Mello's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Juninho Antunes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aguado's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valdemar Nóbrega in the 78th minute. After taking down the ball on Aguado's corner Valdemar Nóbrega fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juninho Antunes quite easily take care of the ball. Ernesto Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Antunes having to interfere. Edson Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Juninho Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguado. If Pedrinho Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Borgueto's zone, Ernesto Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho Antunes came out of the goal and Ernesto Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Borgueto getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Valdir Correia hit a great ball. Valdemar Nóbrega took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juninho Antunes. Borgueto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
