A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, AC PerFecT's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Pires came free, but Váldson da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Emílio Duarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC PerFecT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Franca the free kick. AC PerFecT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Caco Pires scored to the left of an out of position Váldson da Rocha, making the score, 1-0. With his leg Váldson da Rocha managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Franca's Marcos Gonçalves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, AC PerFecT's Maurinho Romero got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Marcos Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caco Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AC PerFecT's Váldson da Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save AC PerFecT from getting a goal against them. Marcos Gonçalves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Váldson da Rocha having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Marcos Gonçalves got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

Caco Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson da Rocha having to interfere. Váldson da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Gonçalves in the 63rd minute of play. Caco Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Váldson da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldir Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Waldir Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Gonçalves in the 78th minute of play forced AC PerFecT's goalkeeper Váldson da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to AC PerFecT getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Denílson Vargas hit a great ball. Guto Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Ribeiro in the 88th minute of play. Waldir Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulinho de Toledo made a great header on Franca's corner, it was just that AC PerFecT's Váldson da Rocha managed to reach the ball for a save. Franca walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
