Tiaguinho Ribeiro started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes in the game, Waldir Cunha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fabiano Mota having to interfere. Décio Brodel hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 7 played minutes, Vasco Da Gama's Serafim Santos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Váldson da Rocha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vasco Da Gama reached it. Sydney Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sydney Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC PerFecT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Serafim Santos was slow to take the kick. During this time Vasco Da Gama's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Serafim Santos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Váldson da Rocha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 18 minutes, Maurinho Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC PerFecT and the Vasco Da Gama players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maurinho Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Luiz Guilherme Alvarenga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Váldson da Rocha was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 22nd minute of the match Vasco Da Gama got a corner. AC PerFecT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafim Santos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fabiano Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiaguinho Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Guilherme Alvarenga in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Váldson da Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, AC PerFecT's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Alvarenga came free, but Váldson da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Váldson da Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vasco Da Gama. Tiaguinho Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vasco Da Gama's Hans Strobos got a free kick in the 44th minute. Emílio Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Lino Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Chaves during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Chaves hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Tiaguinho Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Luiz Guilherme Alvarenga made a precise shot to the right of Váldson da Rocha. AC PerFecT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 69th minute, Luiz Guilherme Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme Alvarenga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Váldson da Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lino Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson da Rocha having to interfere. When Denílson Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC PerFecT's protests and gave Denílson Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. Denílson Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to AC PerFecT getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Maurinho Romero hit a great ball. In the 100th minute of the match Vasco Da Gama got a corner. AC PerFecT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafim Santos ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the final whistle sounded Vasco Da Gama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AC PerFecT.
