Dênis Rosado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Guilherme Pirani went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Dênis Rosado was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Luiz Guilherme Pirani capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luiz Guilherme Pirani really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Rosa in the 31st minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Teodoro Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes of play, Dianopolis's João Adolfo Chaves made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 39th play minutes Agenor de Almeida shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Teodoro Costa and just under the crossbar into goal. Agenor de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Costa having to interfere. Teodoro Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Rosa in the 45th minute of play. If Adhemar Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Joaquim Salgado made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Adhemar Rosa came free, but Teodoro Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Agenor de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Dianopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agenor de Almeida couldn't finish the play. Osmar Soares hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, João Adolfo Chaves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teodoro Costa, 2-3. Teodoro Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agenor de Almeida in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Agenor de Almeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Luiz Guilherme Pirani took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dênis Rosado. Dênis Rosado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Agenor de Almeida in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teodoro Costa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. FC Barcelona's Teodoro Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Rosa in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Lucas dos Santos got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Dianopolis left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Barcelona.
