Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marquinhos Fantini kicked off to start the match. In the 6thth minute of the game Valdemar Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Divinolandia EC's Túlio Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nando Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Fantini in the 7th minute of the match. Jano da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Túlio Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Fantini in the 14th minute of play forced Carios's goalkeeper Nando Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, Carios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Lopes to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes in the game, Marquinhos Fantini fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nando Barros having to interfere. When Gino Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carios's protests and gave Gino Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. If Valdemar Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Jano da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carios's supporters rose to their feet, but Jano da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Túlio Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laércio Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laércio Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Laércio Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Jano da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Valdemar Simões made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Divinolandia EC got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Paraíba. Jano da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Santos having to interfere. Túlio Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdemar Simões's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. If Valdemar Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Simões in the 84th minute of play forced Divinolandia EC's goalkeeper Túlio Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jano da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Túlio Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Divinolandia EC's Murillo Paraíba got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Divinolandia EC's zone, Jano da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Santos came out of the goal and Jano da Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute Virgílio Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Túlio Santos made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jano da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Carios's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
