After 12 played minutes Itapeim SS got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Paraíba. Tales Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perivaldo Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Otávio Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Moisés Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tales Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. STAND BY's Edmundo Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Senna in the 34th minute of play. Edmundo Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duda Senna in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Tales Prado made a precise shot to the right of Otávio Barral. Itapeim SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duda Senna made a kick off. Duda Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Tróia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duda Senna's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Perivaldo Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gilberto Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Duda Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itapeim SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Otávio Barral was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Perivaldo Antunes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Perivaldo Antunes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Tales Prado came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Otávio Barral could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in STAND BY's zone, Duda Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundo Tróia came out of the goal and Duda Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otávio Barral made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Tales Prado sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Perivaldo Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Antunes in the 86th minute of play forced Itapeim SS's goalkeeper Otávio Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Itapeim SS getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Adrianinho Pires hit a great ball. Otávio Barral didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Duda Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Tróia having to interfere.
