Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Clodoveo Eufrasio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A hard shot 5 in the game by Clodoveo Eufrasio from a close distance when the talented Norberto Koehler managed to make a qualified save. Valentin EC's players were relieved. Clodoveo Eufrasio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emílio Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Dias in the 13th minute of the match. Emílio Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Felipe Castro took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emílio Duarte. Emílio Duarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th minute Felipe Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Real Mandri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Real Mandri's Emílio Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Castro in the 22nd minute of play. Clodoveo Eufrasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Real Mandri's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Castro came free, but Emílio Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Dedê Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emílio Duarte. Real Mandri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dedê Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 41 minutes, Róbson Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valentin EC and the Real Mandri players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Valentin EC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Róbson Gaspar hit a great ball. Norberto Koehler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodoveo Eufrasio in the 44th minute. With a little luck, Valentin EC's Norberto Koehler got control of the ball when Clodoveo Eufrasio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Castro to make the kick off. Norberto Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Eufrasio in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Peter-Jan Demarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Clodoveo Eufrasio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Koehler was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 58th match minute, Valentin EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Dias to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 65 minutes, Frédson Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valentin EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frédson Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter-Jan Demarez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Felipe Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Duarte having to interfere. In the 68th minute, one of Real Mandri:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Mandri. Antônio Mattos walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to Real Mandri getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Clodoveo Eufrasio hit a great ball. Norberto Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Eufrasio in the 78th minute of play. After 84 played minutes Real Mandri got a freekick which was hit by Peter-Jan Demarez. 90 minutes into the game, Peter-Jan Demarez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Mandri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valentin EC the free kick. Peter-Jan Demarez kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Gilmar Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Real Mandri's José Paulo Leme got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Felipe Castro came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Valentin EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Castro couldn't finish the play. In the 95th match minute, Real Mandri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Leme to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Valentin EC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Felipe Castro hit a great ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Valentin EC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Real Mandri side.
