Geovani Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Igor Alves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ademir Guedes. Herculano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Alves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ademir Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Alves went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Igor Alves took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ademir Guedes. Ademir Guedes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Jangada FC's Igor Alves got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Claudinei Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jangada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamílton Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Herculano's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Alves came free, but Ademir Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Alves struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Ademir Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jangada FC. If Igor Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademir Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Jangada FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos de Barros to make the kick off. A hard shot by Fernandão Pernambucano from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Ademir Guedes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Igor Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Carlos de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Jangada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Moura came free, but Hamílton Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes, Jefferson Arce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herculano and the Jangada FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, one of Herculano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Herculano. Claudinei Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ademir Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Geovani Gonçalves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jangada FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herculano the free kick. In the 88th minute, Claudinei Nogueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademir Guedes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Danilo Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ademir Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Ademir Guedes managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Jangada FC's Claudinei Nogueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ademir Guedes made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Claudinei Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Jangada FC's Danilo Campidelis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ademir Guedes. That made the score 0-6 after 98 minutes of play. When the match was over Jangada FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Herculano throughout the match.
