Tangerina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvinho Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th match minute, Jangada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Jangada FC's Igor Alves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Claudinei Nogueira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Váldson Salgado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mário Sousa hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Fernandão Pernambucano, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Alves in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Váldson Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th match minute, Jangada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Silveira to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes Jangada FC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Campidelis. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Alves was the one to do the kick off. Silvinho Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Hamílton Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Jangada FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Danilo Campidelis hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Silvinho Silva fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hamílton Valadares, passed just outside the right post. Váldson Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luís Gustavo de Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Gustavo de Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Alves in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Váldson Salgado saved Tangerina from getting behind. When Luís Gustavo de Queiroz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. In the 76th minute, Luís Gustavo de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tangerina's zone, Igor Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Váldson Salgado came out of the goal and Igor Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Váldson Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Nogueira in the 82nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Igor Alves put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Váldson Salgado. Igor Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Váldson Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jangada FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
