Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eusébio Torres got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Eusébio Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaragua's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Eusébio Torres got free in front of the goal in the 5th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Michel Silveira was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Furna SC booed when Jaragua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes, Furna SC's Juvenal Breckenfeld shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yuri Batista came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Furna SC reached it. Michel Silveira made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Bruninho Prestes sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jaragua's goalkeeper Yuri Batista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusébio Torres in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Silveira saved Furna SC from getting behind. Bruninho Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Furna SC's Duda Meira in 38 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Yuri Batista guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a defensive mix-up in Jaragua's zone, Duda Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Batista came out of the goal and Duda Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yuri Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Jaragua booed when Furna SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaragua's Eusébio Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dedê Pinho hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Bruninho Prestes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Silveira was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Edgar Trancoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Edgar Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furna SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruninho Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Silveira having to interfere. With a little luck, Jaragua's Yuri Batista got control of the ball when Edgar Trancoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rdth minute of the game Eusébio Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Furna SC's Michel Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgar Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bruninho Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
