Claudinei Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Bueno in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Baracari SC's Victor Bueno dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 45th minute Alan Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Nicolas Terra made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Baracari SC's Edvaldo Saraiva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 minutes, Victor Bueno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baracari SC and the Cafelandense players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cafelandense booed when Baracari SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cafelandense's Claudinei Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho França in the 93rd minute of play. Edvaldo Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Machado in the 94th minute of the match. The Baracari SC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
