Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Romeu Antunes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Puba's Fernandinho Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Terra in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Cafelandense booed when Puba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Mumbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Nicolas Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandinho Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeu Mangueira got free with Claudinei Palmeira in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Amadeu Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puba's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinei Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 minutes of play, Puba's Amadeu Mangueira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudinei Palmeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dionísio Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fernandinho Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernandinho Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28thth minute of the game Claudinei Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puba's Fernandinho Quintal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Nicolas Terra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dionísio Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernandinho Quintal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Puba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Cipriano Arruda shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After having played for 37 minutes, Nicolas Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cafelandense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernandinho Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionísio Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The wind increased when Nicolas Terra made the kick off in the second half. If Marcelo Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeu Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Amadeu Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Puba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Mangueira couldn't finish the play. If Amadeu Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Nicolas Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandinho Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Mangueira in the 62nd minute of play forced Cafelandense's goalkeeper Claudinei Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Romeu Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Puba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeu Antunes couldn't finish the play. Amadeu Mangueira struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Claudinei Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puba. Amadeu Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Puba's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Terra came free, but Fernandinho Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Fernandinho Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinei Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 76 played minutes Cafelandense got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Machado. If Nicolas Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeu Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Palmeira having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cafelandense fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! Leonel de Alcântara walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 92 minutes into the game, Puba's Osvaldinho Mumbach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinei Palmeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Amadeu Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Puba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Mangueira couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Puba fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cafelandense had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
