Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Castel's Vladimir Barbosa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victor Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Digo Linares having to interfere. Laerte de Azevedo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Baracari SC's Norberto Carneiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Castel. In a very dangerous position, a player in Castel fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 19 minutes, Baracari SC's Norberto Carneiro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Digo Linares. Leopoldo Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Baracari SC got a freekick which was hit by Alan Mendonça. After 24 played minutes, Castel's Joélson Esteves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edvaldo Saraiva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castel reached it. In the 26th minute Victor Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Digo Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Castel got a freekick which was hit by Magno Ferraz. The crowd rose to their feet as Baracari SC's Victor Bueno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Digo Linares. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Maurinho França's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Digo Linares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Castel booed when Baracari SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Baracari SC's zone, Vladimir Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Saraiva came out of the goal and Vladimir Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Maurinho França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Victor Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baracari SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Digo Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Digo Linares having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Bueno in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Digo Linares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alan Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Maurinho França's late challenge caught a Castel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurinho França helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Baracari SC's Maurinho França got a free kick in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Castel's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Bueno came free, but Digo Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Baracari SC's Victor Bueno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Digo Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Laerte de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Baracari SC's goalkeeper Edvaldo Saraiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aluísio Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Saraiva having to interfere. Digo Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baracari SC's goalkeeper Edvaldo Saraiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 92 minutes of play, Baracari SC's Maurinho França made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Digo Linares was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Digo Linares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Castel's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
